Join us for a relaxing evening of swapping kids clothes + items and socializing at our Sip & Swap event for kids' clothes!

 This event will be an evening of adults-only thrifty fun. We'll fill up the cafe with pre-loved kids clothing/gear and spend the evening 'shopping' while socializing!

We’ll snack on charcuterie boards, imbibe in drink specials, and enjoy a night out.

You will also receive a Little Village tote to help you carry home all your new treasures!

Your event admission includes 15 tickets to ‘buy’ items at the event. Receive an additional ticket for every item you contribute to the Swap! An extra special bonus of five more swap tickets to anyone who brings in a diaper donation for MKE Diaper Mission.

Feel free to drop off your items the afternoon before the event to streamline the swapping process. Drop off Thursday, May 29th 4-7pm or anytime Friday, May 30th.

We encourage you to bring items in great condition; free from stains or damages, ensuring they are wearable or playable.

 For any stained/overly worn items, we'll have textile recycling available, ensuring nothing goes to waste. 

Accepted Items for Swapping:

·      Clothing (infant through elementary-aged kids) (maximum of 30 items of clothing, please!)

·      Books

·      Toys

·      Art supplies

·      Puzzles

·      Sporting goods

·      Infant and toddler gear

Any items that did not get selected during the swap will be donated to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission, ensuring that everything finds a new home.

This event is perfect for caregivers of newborns through elementary age children and expecting parents looking to stock up on clothing and gear for their new arrivals.

FAQ Section

I don’t have any items to swap but I do want to shop. Can I attend? Yes! Your ticket comes with 15 swap tickets. 

Can I purchase more tickets?  Yes! We will have more tickets for sale after the first hour of swapping. 

What should I bring? Think of what you’d be excited to go home with! Items in great condition will be perfect. Baby- elementary clothes, books, toys, puzzles, baby and kid gear, sporting equipment 

What things is MKE Diaper Mission collecting? Great question! Of course they always need diapers but they also collect wipes and period products.
